A mobile Hippowash Evolution for RMC Halkyn

Hippowash® worked with various members of the RMC Halkyn team over a 12 month period to deliver a wheel wash solution suitable for their changing needs.

RMC took 2 units. The first was to fulfil part of a planning stipulation for the construction phase of the new processing plant in their limestone quarry in North Wales. The second was employed to wash the wheels of up to 250 vehicles per day exiting the busy site.

As a result of the construction works, the site has undergone a completely new traffic management system, which has required the wash to be moved at various stages. RMC selected a mobile Hippowash^® system incorporating above ground settlement tanks in order to meet these requirements.

Mick Ripley, Quarry Manager said

"The Hippowash^® is working fine. It’s doing the job we needed it to do. We’ve moved it about a lot and I am expecting it to work just as well once it is in its final position."

The wash will be fitted with a water clarifier when installed in it's final position.
