A Hippowash + Water Clarifier solution for Yorwaste

Yorwaste thoroughly researched the wheel wash market before choosing an appropriate wheel wash system for one of their landfill operations in York. The system needed to cope with 80-100 vehicles per day and assist in the Company’s objective of minimising the impact of the operation on the environment.

Due to the layout of the site, it was important that the wheel wash performed effectively. Located approximately 400m from the exit, there isn’t the luxury of a long haul road to assist with muck removal from vehicle tyre, prior to accessing public highways.

Close proximity to a busy main road was one of the challenges Hippowash^® overcame.
